Patna: About 60 huts were gutted in a major fire that broke out inside the campus of the Patna Veterinary College here, police sources said. However, there was no report of any casualty or injury.
The fire broke out in a hut and soon spread in the vicinity razing about 60 huts, the sources said. No damage was caused to the Veterinary College as the main building was quite far from the slum, the sources said.
Several fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames, the sources said, adding the cause of the fire was under investigation.
