Time has past where women were kept in house and were forced to take care of kids and house hold things. Keeping this new change that has come in the society women’s day was celebrated in GICTS College as a part of holi celebration.
GICTS College celebrated holi in unique style by organizing women’s day celebration as part of this colorful festival. Every female student was so excited during the festival one can easily see a spark in her eyes which are saying that ‘I am proud to be a girl’.
All students showed their talent during the celebration from singing to dancing each every student was a part of celebration. On this occasion secretary of college Rohini Bhate said that women are as important to the society as men are and they have given full rights by the government which can help them to be self dependent.
She added to that since it’s a festival time so we have to make sure that we use minimum water as its like gold these days so we shouldn’t be wasting it like that.
