Haryana's Mewat district to have a separate teaching cadre

Chandigarh: Haryana's Mewat district will now have a separate teaching cadre and 5,000 posts of teachers have been sanctioned for this area to improve the level of education.
 
The state government has already issued a notification in this regard, Congress MLA Aftab Ahmed said here.
 
To promote Urdu language, he said it will be taught in all the primary schools of the district, having a sizeable Muslim population, and 544 posts of Urdu teachers have been sanctioned.
