Puducherry: A one-day continuing medical education programme on 'Epithelial Ovarian Cancers' would be organised by the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) here.
The CME programme was being held as part of observance of the International Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Day, Head of Department of Radiotherapy in the RCC Dr K S Reddy said in a release here on Friday.
The programme was aimed at highlighting challenges faced in the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancers. A pamphlet on risk factors and screening options to educate on gynecologic cancers would be released on the occasion.
